The Erasmus Experience Abroad. Interview with Hedda Bednarszky

Hedda is a former Theatre and Television student from Cluj. She studied for four  months Theatre and Film at the University of the Arts in London.

1.    What have you enjoyed most about studying at the University of the Arts?
I gained a lot of academic skills since there were a lot of new courses at the University of the Arts. Additionally, there were teachers with different backgrounds and areas of expertise than what I was used to. I also got a chance to improve my English.
Apart from the academic skills, I had a lot of new experiences that helped me grow and develop personally.

What do you consider are the most important aspects of your Erasmus experience?
I got to visit another country, meet new people and learn to discover and enjoy new things and new places. Also, I did learn a lot from the teachers that I worked with.

3.    What tips or pieces of wisdom would you give to future overseas students thinking of coming to study abroad?
Do it! You will learn a lot of new things that will help you change your life for the better.

4.    What about the English education system, is it what you were expecting?
Everything that I expected and even more!

5.    So far, would you consider the possibility of living abroad for a longer period of time?Yes, this experience has helped me a lot in gaining confidence in the new and the unseen so I think I would love to live abroad for a year or so.
